Errol Flynn was a British citizen, Australian citizenship did not exist before the creation of the Commonwealth in 1949, ten years before Flynn's death.

Errol Flynn began to dabble in opium in the late 1940's after telling his second wife that he wanted to experience everything in life and Flynn quickly became a full-blown addict. This opium addiction and the effects of Flynn's alcohol problem contributed to his premature death in 1959. He was only fifty years old when he died.

In the film Hudson Hawk (1991), the tones that the electronic handcuffs that the Mayflowers put on Hawk make are the same as the telephone tones used in Our Man Flint (1966) and In Like Flint (1967). James Coburn appears in all three films, here as villain George Kaplan, which is the name of the fake agent in North by Northwest (1959).

Bruce Campbell directed two episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess, those episodes being The Key to the Kingdom and The King of Assassins. Campbell also played the character Autolycus in eight episodes; The Royal Couple of Thieves, The Quest, The King of Assassins, Tsunami, Vanishing Act, A Tale of Two Muses, The Key to the Kingdom, and Takes One to Know One.
